On day two of cardigan, everyone got up around 7 30 and hung out until 8:00 when we had breakfast. For breakfast we had eggs, bacon, and muffins, during breakfast the staff announced what we would be doing for the which was hiking a mountain. Whether it was mount cardigan or firescrew we would still be hiking a mountain. After breakfast we went upstairs to change and pack our day bag. AFter we were done we met in our group room and discussed what we would be doing today which was hiking both mountains. We left the lodge around 9:00 and hiked to the top of firescrew summit to agave lunch. While we were walking there we had to cross a steam by crossing on slippery rocks which i almost fell on. Once we got close to the summit we stopped to eat. It was a hard hike but the view was definitely worth it. After around 15 minutes we packed all of our stuff back into our day bag and continued hiking. It was a very hard hike considering it was all uphill and we also had to actually climb mountains not a path up but an actual uphill rock.
